Bagman, what’s Bagman? I hear you say. Well, Bagman is the new brainchild of Owen Watkins (Matrix’s UK Distributor).

Bagman essentially aims to provide the complete package when it comes to cycle event support. ‘We’ve got it covered’ is the main tag line, and taking a nosy around the website it does indeed look that way!

The mission is to eliminate the hassle when taking on a cycling event, whether be a single or multi-day affair. On offer amongst other services is full event planning and logistics, mechanic support, luggage transport, bike collection/delivery service, bike hire, mobile cafe, custom kit design, photography and even a laundry service.

Sounds pretty good to me – I’ve done multi-day tours a few times and having some back up is massively reassuring and indeed beneficial, especially when things don’t go quite to plan.

Oh, and by the way, Bagman has a big enough support vehicle to take several tandems…keep an eye/ear out for some upcoming news about an exciting tandem-specific challenge that in the pipeline for later this year!!
